B3 (Brazilian Bond Builder) is a professional one-step additive mixed into hair color and lightener to help protect and strengthen hair during chemical services.

How is B3 different from Olaplex and K18?

All three are bond-building systems, but they use different technologies. B3 is a one-step, water-free additive mixed directly into the formula. Olaplex is a multi-step system, and K18 focuses on peptide-based repair. We choose B3 for its simplicity and performance in color services.

Will B3 change my color formula or processing time?

No. B3 works with no change to developer strength and no added processing time. Your color develops exactly as intended.

Does B3 really reduce breakage and damage?

Yes. B3 helps rebuild and reinforce the bonds in the hair's cellular membrane complex, the structure that holds your hair together. That protection reduces breakage and the loss of cuticle and cortex cells during color and lightening.
